Bible Conference held at the Penang Adventist Hospital

From March 14-16, 2011, Ganoune Diop, director of the Global Mission Study Centers, and  Gerhard Pfandl, associate director of the Biblical Research Institute, were the speakers at the Malaysian Bible conference held at the Penang Adventist Hospital. About 140 ministers and elders from the Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sarawak, and Sabah Missions as well as some officers from the Southeast Asia Union Mission attended the conference that dealt with a variety of topics ranging from Sunday Laws to The Nature and Meaning of the Mission Entrusted to God’s End Time People.

Bangkok Bible Conference held at the Thailand Mission office

From March 17-19, 2011, Ganoune Diop, director of the Global Mission Study Centers, and  Gerhard Pfandl, associate director of the Biblical Research Institute, were the speakers at the Bangkok Bible conference held at the Thailand Mission office. About 100 ministers from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and some officers from the Southeast Asia Union Mission attended the conference that dealt with a variety of topics including Current Trends in SDA Theology and The Meaning and Urgency of Sharing the Three Angels’ Messages.

74 Students from the West-Central African Division attend course on Issues in SDA Theology

“Issues in SDA Theology” was the course Gerhard Pfandl taught for the Adventist University of Africa on the campus of Babcock University in Nigeria. 74 students from the West-Central Africa Division African attended the course at the conclusion of which they presented their lecturer with the traditional garment of a Nigerian chief.
